WHAT TO EXPECT
When you come to First Bradenton, you can expect to be welcomed into a friendly, loving environment by people who are genuinely excited to see you. Our worship service lasts about an hour, is filled with great music, and includes an inspiring message from the Bible by our pastor.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
When you come for a visit to First Bradenton we want you to dress comfortably. We want you to be at ease and feel at home here. Most of our attendees wear smart casual, but we cover the spectrum. Our pastoral staff often wear a dress shirt and jeans so no matter what you wear, you won’t be alone.
Our pastor, ministerial staff, and support staff love serving Christ and His mission in our community. We are excited to have a church staff that is committed to the spiritual growth and compassionate care of our church and community. Find out more about our pastor and how to connect with our staff members.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Truth matters. It guides us to know God and understand His gospel message. Our common confession of belief unifies us as a church family under God’s revelation. It brings us together in maturing in our faith and participating in God’s work in the world. Check out our doctrinal statement and how to find out more about what we believe.
OUR MISSION & VISION
Our mission is to make followers of Jesus Christ. We want to invite believers to join us in the exciting work of multiplying, maturing, and mobilizing Christians in declaring the gospel and caring for the hurting. Check out the ways that we are working to help people find wholeness through faith in Jesus Christ.
Can I trust God? Can God trust me? These are just some of the questions that Pastor Allen will answer in our new January sermon series.
WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY
Everyone is welcome to join our Wednesday evening Bible study. We begin each evening at 6:30pm and end around 7:20pm. We are currently studying through the book of 1 Peter. This is led by Pastor Doug in room #100 on the bottom floor of the Office building.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
One of the greatest challenges among women in our culture is taking time to stop and cease from all the activities and busyness and just breathe. We are in bondage to busyness. By neglecting time for tranquility, serenity, and repose, we limit our Christlikeness and miss out on some of God’s greatest gifts. It is time for us to breathe and build margin into our lives for God. Join us for this upcoming Women’s Only Study!
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
In this study, he’s inviting you to reflect and wrestle with him as he describes his life-altering trek through the Himalayas. You’ll ask hard questions alongside Platt about human need, suffering, faith, the gospel, and our role. For Christians, ignorance of profound human need is not an option. Neither is indifference. It’s time to explore what it means to follow Jesus in a world of urgent physical and spiritual need. Join us for this upcoming Women’s Only Study!
Our Life Groups are the ongoing small group Bible study system for our church. There are groups available for people in all seasons of life. Some groups meet on Sunday morning and others meet during various times of the week. Check out the listing of Life Groups to find the one that is right for you.
